We call it MEAD diagnostics because this machine is capable of determining the energy level in all the acupuncture meridians in the body. MEAD stands for: Meridian Energy Analysis Device
Body energy has to do with the proper layers of the right kinds of fats in the cell membranes of all the cells of the body and the proper electrical potentials that exist across those cell membranes. In other words, our bodies are much like a battery. “Healing is Voltage” to quote Harvard trained physician Jerry Tennant, M.D. There is a healthy normal voltage, a “sick” voltage and a “healing” voltage. What is Body Energy and why is it important?
The treatment is done using an electrical stimulator on various points of the body, without using needles.
Electro-acupuncture can also be used to treat pain in specific areas such as ankles, knees, elbows, shoulders and back.
With this information, we can then provide a specific treatment plan to increase the body's voltage.
Treatment may include a personal TENS unit (transdermal electronic nerve stimulator). Electrodes, in the form of (2) 2x2 square sticky electrodes can be attached to the skin wherever there is pain or placed on certain meridian points to isolate specific organs.
Wires are connected, from the pads, to a control box that is powered by 2 AA batteries and gives off low-voltage electric current in either a constant pulse or a burst mode. The patient is in control at all times as to how strong they want the current to be and how long they want to have a treatment.
This TENS unit is the size of a wallet and is an easy way to have a do-it-yourself therapy at home to maintain body voltage and treat pain.
Another treatment to increase voltage in the body is the Aqua Chi which is called "Electron Donor" therapy.
A body out of balance, energetically, can make chronic pain and illness worse. A body needs energy to heal.
We have found it very effective in speeding the healing process.

On August 21, 2009, four days after my 60th birthday, I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma (throat cancer).
After two throat surgeries (2009 and 2011) and six weeks of radiation treatments (2009), my ENT (ear, nose, throat doctor & surgeon) informed me that there was nothing else she could do to help me. I refused traditional chemo therapy.
On November 18, 2011, I started my medical treatments at R.I.M.C. My first round of treatments was the three-week bootcamp. My experience was very good, with very few problems. If I did have a problem, the medical staff was always right there to see to my needs. A warm touch or a helping hand was always reassuring.
As of June 2013, all of my tests for cancer have come back clean. On October 17, 2013, I went to my ENT for a checkup. She was completely surprised to see me. She ran a scope (camera) up my nose and down my throat and didn't see any signs of cancer. Praise to our Lord God Almighty!
I would like to thank all of the staff at R.I.M.C. Everyone, from the front office personnel, the medical staff, and Dr. Bob, really cares about your health and well-being. They always treat you more like a family member than a patient/client.
I highly recommend R.I.M.C.
